Overview

The Irish Sea, also known as the Manx Sea, is that part of the North Atlantic which separates the islands of Ireland and Great Britain. It is dotted with freight and passenger ports on both sides. Other industries in the region include ship building, oil exploration, fishing and wind power generation.
