Boats should make their way to the red & white round safe water marker. The entrance to the estuary is not well marked. A couple of the marker "sticks" are missing and the others are unlit. From where the beach narrows the rest of the channel is marked with three sets of port and starboard buoys.
A very strong tidal current sweeps through the Marina. Any boats unfamiliar with the area should be mindful of this and do their maneuvering at high tide when the currents are slack.
