Background
Marigot Bay is a landlocked deep bay. It has a small marina operated by he Moorings but there are several anchoring possibilities. It is lush and beautiful. There are number of hotels and restaurants ashore.
The are quite a few moorings on the south side of the outer bay and in the inner bay. As you enter, you will be offered these buoys by the boat boys who charge EC$80 per night. They are quite close together. If you arrive early enough, you can anchor on the north side of the outer bay.
The bay actually has a buoyed channel (one of the few in St Lucia). Don't anchor in the channel as some unfeasibly large superyachts use the marina and squeeze down the channel.
