Marina di Lio Grando lies on the E side of the Canale Treporti in the [[Venetian Lagoon]] opposite the island of Sant’Erasmo and around four miles NE of the main island of Venice. Marina di Lio Grando lies on the E side of the Canale Treporti in the Venetian Lagoon opposite the island of Sant’Erasmo and around four miles NE of the main island of Venice. It is accessed via the Porto di Lido and lies in a reasonably quiet residential area, far removed from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The city is, however, easily accessed by ferry from the piers 600 metres SW of the marina. The marina offers 200 berths for yachts up to 40 metres in maximum depths of 5.0 metres.

Coming from the Porto di Lido, take the channel of Canale Treporti which curves NE from the entrance round the headland of Punta Sabbioni. Marina di Lio Grando lies on the starboard side of the channel about a mile up the channel from Porto di Lido. The marina is entered from NE. Beware of strong currents in the entrance, which can exceed 4.0 knots at springs.
