The Marina of Rodi di Garganico is a new marina in the final stages of completion (December 2010) at the town of Rodi di Garganico on the N coast of the Promontorio del Gargano on the Adriatic coast of Italy. When complete it will have a total of over 300 berths on pontoons with all the usual marina facilities and a 3000 square metre boatyard. The marina development also includes a number of luxury residential units together with a clubhouse, fitness centre and swimming pool.
I planned to enter here in March 2015, but could get no information from it, not even an answer to an e-mail. I went into Vieste and was told that this marina was built in the wrong place, and has silted up. Apparently there are still boats in there which are unable to get out. It seems unlikely that anything will be done about this in the near future. It was built with EU money, and the profit has been made. Vieste is still the best option on this stretch of coast. The long curved outer breakwater is conspicuous from some distance off. The marina is entered from SE. Depths in the entrance are 4.5 - 5.5 metres and in the marina from 3.5 - 4.5 metres.

Repairs/Yard
Since June 2009 the yard of IBS Yachting Point has been operating here. The yard has 3000 square metres storage space. Travel lift (100 T). Crane (25 T). Engine, electrical and electronic repairs. Wood, steel and fiberglass hull repairs. Sail repairs. Divers.
