Wedged between the mainland and [[North Stradbroke Island]], '''Russell Island''' is a small residential island off the coast of [[Brisbane]] in Moreton Bay. It is 8km long and nearly 3km wide. Land prices are a bargain compared to adjacent coastal towns, reflecting the inconvenience of commuting to work by ferry.
