Navigation/Approach

Yacht Classic Hotel from end of pontoon

The marina is situated towards the SW corner of the bay of Fethiye, immediately W of the much larger marina of Fethiye Marina. The marina is owned and operated by the Yacht Classic Hotel and offers 30 berths for yachts of up to 15.0 metres in depths of 5.0 metres. Formerly a base for Sunsail Yachts, it is now operated as a private marina for visiting yachts and hotel guests. Shelter is good in most conditions, although strong NE winds send a swell across the bay.

Berthing

Laid mooring lines at all berths. Yachts go bows-or stern-to on the two sides or the end of a T-shaped pontoon.

Marina facilities

Marina Location

The marina is a 10 minute walk from Fethiye town centre.

Price

Price for typical 13 metre yacht (2012): Euros 17 (incl. water and electricity) if one eats at the hotel restaurant. Otherwise Euros 62 (incl. water and electricity).

Personal experience

Hotel restaurant meals average 18-30 TL for mains and 8-16 TL for salads, just an example. Quality is good. Yacht Classic Hotel also offers winter berthing. For contract 15 October 2012 to 15 April 2013, rate for a 16-metre yacht was 2,000 Euro, plus metered electricity if one lives aboard over the winter. Construction is underway of additional dock expansion, as well as new separate swimming pool for yachting visitors. --Svbebe
