The small island of Zmajan lies off the mainland coast of Croatia W of Sibenik. The island is situated halfway between the larger islands of Kaprije to the W and Zlarin to the E.

Located at the middle of the SW shore of the island at the E site of the cape Ražanj ("stake"). The anchorage is protected from N-NE winds. The holding is good at the sandy patches.

Located further SE of the u. Zaražanj at the middle of the SW shore of the island. It's a deeper bay with thicker weed on the bottom, so it perhaps it would by only suitable as a day stop.
