I've built and restored several boats, the longest a 26' Rhoades Sloop. I may get the chance to do something like this again and need information on making a passage from Philadelphia to the San Juans (Washington state) via the Panama Canal. At this point my experience regarding such long passages is very limited. But I may have up to 7 years to plan for this trip and so feel confident that I could adequately prepare for the task.
