-	The relatively protected anchorage of Corong Corong is becoming popular in the North East monsoon as a stop for yachts provisioning to cruise the islands of the Bacuit Bay area. In the South East monsoon anchorage can be found off El Nido itself. This small village is developing quickly into a tourist area but is still fairly unspoilt and has clear, clean water in both anchorages. Protected from north, east and south although wind does sometimes blow across the saddle into the anchorage, open to south west. We have found it good holding although we have heard of boats which have dragged.
