Entrance to Marina Vitrenjak
Plan of Marina Vitrenjak

Marina Vitrenjak is situated half a mile NW of the large commercial harbour of Zadar on the coast of Croatia, 400 metres SE of the marina of Marina Borik. Mostly used by small local boats, it offers a total of 250 berths for vessels up to 20.0 metres in depths of up to 6.0 metres.

Try calling Marina Vitrenjak on VHF channel 17 prior to entry. Alternatively, telephone +385 (23) 331 036 or e-mail to enquire about berthing or advance reservations.

Zadar is approached either from NW along the channel separating the mainland from the island of Ugljan or from SE along the E side of the island of Pasman. Smaller yachts and motor boats can approach via the Prolaz Zdrelac, the narrow channel between the islands of Ugljan and Pasman; however, note that the channel is crossed by a road bridge with only 16 metres clearance. In the approach, the buildings of the old town on a peninsula sheltering the harbour from S and W are conspicuous. Marina Vitrenjak is situated a mile NW of the peninsula of Zadar old town, 400 metres SE of Marina Borik, with which it should not be confused. The marina is entered from ESE.

Berthing assistance unavailable. Yachts berth on one of seven concrete piers. Depths in the marina range from 1.5 metres at the root of the piers to 6.0 metres at the end. Depths in the entrance are 12.0 metres.
