- | |There are a large assortment of mooring buoys located on the south/left side of the cala as you enter. These buoys are available for long-term rent from the Harbour Master but can be very difficult to book, especially during the summer season. Anchoring is available on the north/right side of the cala. The holding is good in mud, but be cautious as this area has been dredged and gets shallow very suddenly. | + | |There are a large assortment of mooring buoys located on the south/left side of the cala as you enter. Personal NotesPrairie Chicken writes: Porto Colom has been a favorite location for our boat for years. It provides a well protected harbour, fuel, water, excellent provisioning opportunities, good restaurants, a choice of visitors quay with good showers, or anchoring. Until 2008 the Club Nautico visitor's quay was a bargain, but sadely this is no longer the case. In addition, Porto Colom is well located on the scenic East Coast of Mallorca, offering opportunities for day excursions with a safe haven to return to in the evening.
