List places of interest, tours, eateries, etc. Sidney is a small town with one main street - Beacon Ave. Sidney has three grocery stores (Fairway Market is closest to Port Sidney Marina), a small cinema, a public library and various other shops. There is a 5k walking path along the water.

Marine stores

Submit addresses and contact details of marine related businesses that are of interest to cruisers.

  • Sidney has a well known used marine store called the Boaters Exchange and a West Marine. Downtown Sidney also has a hardware store and a sundries store (Capital Iron) that has everything from kitchen gadgets to camping. Just North of the town near Van Isle Marina is a large selection of marine shops including diesel engine repair and parts, boat building, and electrical/electronics.
