Sidney is a town located at the northern end of the Saanich Peninsula, on Vancouver Island in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It has a population of approximately 11,583. Sidney is located just east of Victoria International Airport, and about 6 km (4 mi) south of BC Ferries' Swartz Bay Terminal. The town is also the only Canadian port-of-call in the Washington State Ferries system, with ferries running from Sidney to the San Juan Islands and Anacortes.

Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club

SNSYC was founded in 1981 by a group of individuals interested in boating. From the outset it was designed to be friendly and unpretentious, providing an affordable and accessible club serving both the powerboat and sailboat communities. Currently the club has about 400 memberships and a very active Junior Program.

North Saanich Marina
5 Minutes form BC Ferries, 10 Mins from Victoria Airport. Berths for up to 70' (21 m) boats. Water, electricity, toilerts, showers, WiFi. Coffee bar. Charts.

Canoe Cove Marina
Canoe Cove is a 450-berth marina with mostly permanent moorage including 140 boathouses and 28 covered slips. Boats up to 64' (20 m). Water, electricity, toilerts, showers, laundry, fuel dock (08:00 – 16:30 daily). Chandlery, propane. Boatyard with 35 ton travel hoist, 65 ton marine way. Repairs by contractors.
