Milford Haven

Milford Haven is a major port, the largest in Wales and third largest in the UK. With 3 major oil refineries and a ferry terminal, three marinas, three yacht clubs and many sheltered anchorages, it is a bustling waterway. Upstream of the ports of Milford and Pembroke Dock are many miles of navigable tidal waterway with unspolit anchorages.

• 2 buoyed channels running roughly SW-NE(referred to as the East and West channels) are used by shipping to enter the port. These channels merge to form one channel, running roughly East-West. For more details, see Passage resources
