Been sailing for most of 30 years; mostly in the Northwest, inland lakes & coastal waterways. Grew up around the Puget Sound; my Dad always had boats around to play with. Took a cruise to the Tonkin Gulf with the USN in the early 70's. Got my first Sailboat around 1986, sailing on Lake Pend Orielle in Northern Idaho. As with most sailors who work for a living, I don't get out on the water enough. My goal is a larger boat and heading south and hope to make it around the world.
