Doganyurt is a small very attractive village with a good harbor. It is situated about 20 nM west of Inebulu. The harbor is pleasant, not very busy. The water is not too bad for the Black Sea and one can have a pleasant swim here.

Doganyurt Harbor
The harbor is pleasant and not busy with only a few small and vey small fishing boats. You can anchor off-shore outide the harbour if the conditions permit. The inside of the harbor, has been silted up and as at July 2011 maximum depth was 3.7m in places previously recorded as being 5m in some guides. Much of the harbour is 2 m and less especially close to the eastern harbour breakwater. Anchor on the north side or north western corner of the harbour. The bottom is mud with a weed cover and affords very good holding.
As at July 2011 the harbour breakwaters are being worked on with the addition or many very large concrete blocks being delivered to the harbour and surrounding area waiting to be installed.
