Seamanship
|
Seamanship refers to the set of skills used in operating a boat. These skills are developed through training and experience, and can vary depending on the type of vessel, the cruising area, and the preferences of the individual sailor. The purpose of good seamanship is to ensure safe handling of the boat, to reduce the likelihood of collisions and other accidents, and to increase enjoyment.
