Berthing
Marinas & Yacht Clubs
The Port de Plaisance de Concarneau is a purpose-built marina constructed in the lee of the old town (Ville Close). Of the approximately 400 berths, around 50 are reserved for visitors. Water and electricity are available at all berths. The marina offers good shelter is most conditions, although the swell running through it can become alarming in very strong SW winds. We spent two very uncomfortable nights here in a SW force 9 with 11 lines out to the pontoon (one of which frayed right through) - s/y Athene of Lymington.
