Fethiye (Port of entry)
Background
Fethiye [36° 37' N 29° 06' E], the ancient Telmessos, is a very pleasant town with a large esplanade. The town is surrounded by Lycian rock tombs carved on the rocks. There is also a medieval castle built by the Knights of Rhodes. In the middle of the town there is a Lycian sarcophagus tomb in the shape of a small house.
