I have been cruising the waters between Labrador and the Caribbean for more than 35 years, and I have owned eight different cruising sailboats. I'm also the author of numerous magazine articles, blog posts, cruising guides, and other nautical information. My Intracoastal Waterway Chartbook is now in its sixth edition. In summary, I'm a boat nut.
