Comino
| |
| |
The small island of Comino with an area of 3.5 km2 (1.35 mi2) and less than 10 inhabitants is the third and smallest island of the Maltese group.
While the island was inhabited by farmers during the Roman Times, its population has dwindled over the ages to today's less than 10.
There are several very attractive anchorages in Comino.

Anchorages
- Blue Lagoon
- San Niklaw Bay (infront of Comino Hotel) and Santa Marija Bay on the north coast of Comino offer good protection and bottom with patches of well holding sand. These bays are better protected from W/WNW winds than the Blue Lagoon (and also not so heavily frequented by the countless tourist boats)
