The main town Ibiza or Eivissa is the largest city and port of the island. The old town, a World Heritage Site, within the citadel is very attractive but the modern town on the waterfront is less so. There are two marinas in the port.

Approaches Ibiza are straight forward but there is a lot of traffic.
Warning: Approaching or departing Ibiza at night can be very confusing.

The port is a fairly large harbor. It is sheltered from all weather. Of its two marinas Ibiza Nueva, the larger, is more likely to have room for a visiting yacht. At any rate, advance reservations are highly recommended.
