Introduction
HBYC Marina is arguably the nicest marina in the Cape - with great facilities, fantastic scenery, and offers great value. It is a great stopover for cruisers, and a good place to keep a boat. Security is generally very good, and the marina is always a happy place.
Marina radio contact
The Marina Manager is Peter Godley. Peter keeps a listening watch on VHF CH-71 during office hours which are every day from 9 am to 1 pm except Wednesdays and Sundays. The Marina office phone number is 021 790 7095 and Peter’s cell number is 082 446 9424..

The marina is within walking distance to the village of Hout Bay where almost everything you may need is available.

Close to a Cape Town bus route and taxis.

(Moorings as at Mar.'09)
- All Landward side: R850 p.m.
- Large Inner Landward side: R850 p.m.
- Small Inner Landward side: R700 p.m.
- Inner Seaward side: R600 - R700 p.m.
- Outer Seaward side: R550 - R600 p.m.
NOTE: Temporary membership is compulsory for all visiting or cruising boats at R275 per month or R80 per week, per person, over 18 years.
Harbour Dues payable are based on the length of the Boat
