Yachts are permitted to anchor outside the line of buoys marking the swimming area, although this position exposes a yacht to the noise and wash from a horde of jetskis, banana boats and water skiers. A better anchorage is just to the north of the small islet next to the bay, where you can anchor in 5-7 meters in sand and go ashore in the dinghy to a narrow, fine shingle beach which is often deserted.
