Marina Admiral is situated one miles S of the popular resort of [[Opatija]] on the Istrian coast of [[Croatia]].  Opatija itself lies on the west side of the Gulf of Kvarner, six miles W of the large port of [[Rijeka]] and 11 miles due N of the island of [[Cres]].  The marina is owned by Liburnia Riviera Hotel group and the marina development includes the adjoining Hotel Admiral.
