The Marina Assonautica lies in the Porto Mercantile of La Spezia immediately north of the larger and newer marina of Porto Mirabello, adjoining the quay of Costantino Moran. The marina offers over 600 berths for smaller yachts up to a maximum size of 18.0 metres on nine pontoons plus 60 berths for yachts in transit. Priority is normally given to members, but there is usually space here for yachts in transit outside busy periods.

Marina Assonautica lies to the E of the extensive breakwater of the naval harbour, due N of the modern marina of Porto Mirabello. From a distance, three tall chimneys behind the harbour with alternate red and white bands are a good landmark. The marina is entered from SE. Depths in the marina range from 1.5 metres at the shore to 6.0 metres at the extremity.

Berthing is on pontoons with laid moorings. Marina staff will assist with berthing on request.

Limited repairs. You are better off trying the various boatyards.

Reasonable in marina (gated access to pontoons).
Location
The marina is 10 minutes walk from the centre of La Spezia, with its numerous shops and restaurants.
Transportation
The Via Aurelia motorway runs just N of the marina.

Current price (November 2010) for typical 13 metre yacht Euros 39 (high season); Euros 25 (low season).
