Plan of Marina Borik

Marina Borik is situated a mile NW of the large commercial harbour of Zadar on the coast of Croatia, 400 metres NW of the marina of Marina Vitrenjak. As of 2012 the operation of the marina has been taken over by the Turkish-owned Dogus group, which operates several large marinas on the Turkish coast as well as Marina Dalmacija in the bay of Sukosan SE of Zadar. It will in future be known as the D-Marin Marina Borik. The marina offers a total of 185 berths for yachts up to 40.0 metres in depths of up to 6.0 metres.

Marina radio contact

Call Marina Borik on VHF channel 17 or 16 prior to entry. Alternatively, telephone (+385 23 333036) or e-mail to enquire about berthing or advance reservations.

Navigation/Approach

Zadar is approached either from NW along the channel separating the mainland from the island of Ugljan or from SE along the E side of the island of Pasman. Smaller yachts and motor boats can approach via the Prolaz Zdrelac, the narrow channel between the islands of Ugljan and Pasman; however, note that the channel is crossed by a road bridge with only 16 metres clearance. In the approach, the buildings of the old town on a peninsula sheltering the harbour from S and W are conspicuous. Marina Borik is situated a mile NW of the peninsula of Zadar old town, 400 metres NW of the marina of Marina Vitrenjak, with which it should not be confused.

Berthing

Berthing assistance available. Yachts berth on one of six pontoons, using finger piers. Depths in the marina are 2.0 - 6.0 metres and in the entrance 6.5 metres.
