Marina Punat lies on the E side of a large, virtually landlocked inlet two mile E of Krk Town on the island of Krk in Croatia. The marina offers a total of 800 berths for yachts up to 45 metres in depths up to 3.0 metres and 400 places ashore for overwintering. Shelter in the marina is excellent in all conditions.

Navigation/Approach

The narrow entrance to the inlet lies around two miles E of Krk Town. The channel is clearly marked with red and green painted beacons (the starboard ones are lit). Depths in the channel are only 2.5 - 3.0 metres and entry is inadvisable in strong winds or anything that raises a swell. Once through the entrance, the marina is clearly visible on the E side of the inlet, opposite a small wooded islet.

Berthing

Berthing assistance available on request. Yachts berth stern/bows-to on one of 11 pontoons or associated quays. Laid moorings at all pontoons. Yachts in transit normally berth on the northernmost pontoon (B6).

Repairs/Yard

Boatyard with space for 400 yachts on land. Travel lift (100 T) Slipway (50T). Fixed crane (10 T). All engine, mechanical and electronic repairs. Antifouling and paint works.

The marina is 10 minutes from the facilities of Punat town.

Transport

• Buses to Krk Town and Rijeka.
• Taxis to airport (30kms).

Price

Current price for typical 13 metre yacht (2013): Euros 50. Prices increase by 50% during July and August.
