The basin of Sestri Ponente contains a series of pontoons and quays run by the Italian Lega Navale (pontoons A to L), the Cantieri Navali di Sestri boatyard, which has two pontoons with 150 berths, and several other smaller clubs and boatyards. Shelter here is excellent.

Marina radio contact
Call either the Lega Navale on VHF channel 67 or Cantieri Navali di Sestri on VHF channel 69 on entry to the basin and await instructions.
The marina is situated in the west basin of Genoa harbour, which lies behind a long detached breakwater, Digo Aeroporto. To reach the marina, leave the new Marina Genova Aeroporto to starboard and the ship bunkering piers to port and pass through to the eastern end of the basin. Be alert to possible ship movements in and out of the basin, as it is used by naval and bunkering vessels.
