Port de la Pointe Rouge is a relatively new marina constructed at the settlement of Pointe Rouge, six kms S of the city of [[Marseille]]. By sea, it is just four miles from the [[Vieux Port]] of [[Marseille]]. It offers a convenient stopover for a visit to the famous French city just a short ferry ride away. It is usually easier to find a berth here during the busiest months of July and August than in the [[Vieux Port]].
