- | + | The small harbour of Rio Marina is situated on the east coast of Elba, roughly halfway between the small and shallow harbour of Cavo and Porto Azzuro. The slopes behind the harbour are disfigured by several hundred years of open-cast mining. While not unattractive, the village is a very dusty place. Yachts either anchor moor to the quay or berth at the long pontoons (summer only) if there is space. Shelter is poor in winds from N to NE. | |
