COMMENTS on Marinturk Istanbul City Port

  • This is the same marina as Pendik Marina. It is now run by MarinTurk.
  • It is on the South (Asian) side of the Bosphorus (not North and heading says)
  • Planes land in close-by International airport. They fly low over the marina every 5 minutes from 0500 to after midnight
  • Alcohol in limited supply in supermarkets and restaurants
  • Only allows Stern-to and will bounce your boat if you try to put in bow-to - with damage if that happens.NOT RECOMMENDED.
