Danger: Very often there is a heavy fog and the strait is closed to traffic. Always listen to Bosphorus Control on the VHF (channels 11,12, and 13).

The cove is crowded with local boats permanently moored there and usually there is no room for a visiting yacht. Anchoring here is hard due to the depths and the current.
