Thessaloniki is a Greek port of entry/exit. Please submit details about facilities for checking in - location of immigration & customs, etc.

Berthing

Marinas & Yacht Clubs

Thessaloniki Marina in the suburb of Aretsou is the main yacht marina. It offers good shelter, with laid moorings on the quays and water and electricity at each berth. Limited hard standing is also available. Most facilities such as ATMs, shops, restaurants etc are available in the nearby suburb of Aretsou.

The marina is a good, safe place to leave a yacht while flying home from the airport at Thessaloniki. One small irritation is that the marina charges even part of a day as a full day - in other words, if you arrive at 2300 on Friday and leave at 0700 Saturday you are charged for two days! Declared opening time of the Marina Office 09:00 - 16:30.

Anchorages

Few sheltered anchorage possibilities. You are better off in the marina. If you have to , there is fair holding just outside the marina although you may be asked to move if the clubs are having a regatta. Can be rolly.
