Yerakas

Yerakas [36° 47.1' N 23° 05' E] with its deep the fjord it is an excellent all around shelter.

With a small yacht you can go side-to the small quay. Many cruisers do not find this very attractive and prefer instead to anchor off in 4-6 m.

The bottom is mud and although there may be some trouble, once the anchor digs in the holding is good.

Cove N of Yerakas

About 2 nM north of Yerakas there is fairly nice cove. The cove is not very well protected but it is a pleasant lunch stop.

Offshore Islands
