Yerakas
Background
Yerakas (Γέρακας) or Ieraka or Yeraki is a hamlet in a deep fjord on the SE coast of Peloponnese. This is a most beautiful place.

Yerakas [36° 47.1' N 23° 05' E] with its deep the fjord it is an excellent all around shelter.
With a small yacht you can go side-to the small quay. Many cruisers do not find this very attractive and prefer instead to anchor off in 4-6 m.
The bottom is mud and although there may be some trouble, once the anchor digs in the holding is good.

About 2 nM north of Yerakas there is fairly nice cove. The cove is not very well protected but it is a pleasant lunch stop.
