More notes about the marina

The Marina CAT Sardinia consists of a 60 metre pontoon in the Porto Mercantile of La Spezia immediately E the marina of Marina Assonautica and adjoining the quay of Costantino Moran. The pontoon is for catamarans only and can accommodate up to 12 vessels of a maximum length of 18 metres by previous arrangement.

The marina does not keep listening watch on VHF. Telephone Marina CAT Sardinia on: +39 0187 751501 or cellphone: +39 338 1454374.

Marina CAT Sardinia lies to the E of the extensive breakwater of the naval harbour, due E of the pontoons of Marina Assonautica. From a distance, three tall chimneys behind the harbour with alternate red and white bands are a good landmark. Depths on the pontoon range from 3.0 metres at the shore to 7.0 metres at the extremity.

Berthing is alongside on pontoons. The pontoon is reportedly being extended (November 2010) to create more space.

No repairs. You are better off trying the various boatyards.

Reasonable (gated access to pontoons).

The marina is a few minutes walk from the centre of La Spezia, with its numerous shops and restaurants.

The Via Aurelia motorway runs just N of the marina.

Provide price information. (If possible add a link to the marina's pricing page.)
