Porto Karras or Porto Carras (Πόρτο Καρράς) is a fancy and expensive marina on the W side of the Sithonia Peninsula it is located within the Porto Carras complex. An attendant will direct to a berth. Water & electricity is normally not included in the charge while WiFi is FOC but not always working properly.
Communication
It is best to make advance reservation by calling ahead. On approach hail the marina on VHF channel 09
There are flashing green and red lights at the marina entrance, quite tight but with a depth in the middle of 5.5 meters.
Berthing
An assistant with an inflatable will meet you and guide you to your berth.
Facilities
- Many Restaurants
- Bar
- Minimarket doesn't have any vegetables or fruits. They can be found in Neas Marmaras using the shuttle "ferry" that leaves, close to the Hotel Meliton, every half an hour.
- Toilets and showers would need some refurbishment but are clean.
- In summer every night movies for children and adults.
- A little wheeled train almost each hour goes around the Porto Carras Resort and makes a stop in the winery for a pleasant tasting experience.

Location
Many shops in the complex. The marina is located 120 km from Thessaloniki and its airport.
Transportation
Good roads to Thessaloniki.
Price
- My S/Y of 11.5 meters paid 99 euros per day, comprehensive of light and water. This fare is questionable considering that facilities are quite old.
