I wanted to sail tropical islands since I was a kid. I got started cruising when I talked my way onto a sailing ketch called Lost Soul headed CA to the Med. Returned and won passage on the Royal Yacht of Selangor, a new swan 68. I sailed from el Carib to Thailand with her. I started doing deliveries in SE Asia. I got my CG license and skippered a 118 ton yacht for private owners for a season in Mex. I did more deliveries. I skippered a 76' cutter for a music producer for a season in the Canadian Pacific Northwest. Took the Cal 33 once around. Now I get to do multi-boat sailing charters with sailing legend and great friend Tania Aebi.
