Been sailing since 11 years old - Sunfish, Cal Cat 14, Sol Cat 18, and finally a 31' Cape George Cutter I started building in 1978. Cruised and lived aboard since 1992. Cruised from Desolation Sound (northernmost point) to the Panama Canal, across South America to Trinidad, up island to USVI, Bermuda, then Ireland. Cruised northern Europe and Med, as far as Turkey, before returning by way of the Caribbean, Bermuda, NYC, Hudson, Erie Canal, and Great Lakes. Trucked home to Portland in 2009. Currently refitting Carina with new engine and related systems, plus just about everything else <sigh>.
