I am currently an orthodontist and look forward to retirement starting in March 2015. I grew up in New Orleans, LA and sailed extensively out of the Southern Yacht Club as a kid until leaving LA to attend college at TCU. Years have rolled by as I raised a family, built my orthodontic practice and lived an inland life in Coppell, TX, a suburb of Dallas. Now it is time for my wife and I to experience a different part of life. We own a FP Helia 44 in the Caribbean and look forward to closing our life in Texas and opening a new life as liveaboards. We read, study, publish and do everything we can from out current location to smooth our transition into a sailing life. I hope I am able to effectively contribute to this cruiser's wiki as I evolve through my various stages of the sailing life.
