I have sailed my 36ft sloop PADMA (GibSea 106) from the western Mediterranean via Portugal, Canaries, Cabo Verde, Senegal, Brazil, Guyana to Trinidad (so far). This has taken 6 years, in stages, while living back in Germany for long stretches in between. I sail single-handed a lot, but also with my girlfriend and our baby daughter (now two daughters for the next stage).
