Hi,I'm a single, English born, natralised Kiwi and have lived on my 40 yacht in Nelson New Zealand for seven years now. My Boat "Searcher" is an Eric Cox offshor 40' built in Auckland NZ in 1965. She's an all steel cutter rigged sloop. Full keel with a cut away bow for better turning ability. A wooden dodger and solid ply bimini (which I've just about finnished). Can sleep 7 but who wants 7 people on their boat?? My plans are to sail up to "the islands" ie:- Tongo,Fiji,Vanuatu,New Caladonia & Australia, then who knows?? Love reading about people's adventures and seeing the photos. Will be doing the same next year I recon? see ya..Paulo
