Toast is first mate on s/v Don Quixote, a Lagoon 380 catamaran currently somewhere in the South Pacific. She and her family have been living aboard since 2006 and cruising since 2008. They started in the US Pacific Northwest, traveled up the BC coastline before heading all the way south to Zihautenejo, Mexico. They spent a year drifting around Pacific Mexico, another year plumping the kitty in New Zealand, and are now ferrying their own boat across the Pacific back to NZ. In her prior life, Toast was a tech writer. Now she haunts the HAM nets, teaches her three kids how to spell phosphorescent, and feeds the captain.
