Dr. Izak Labuschagne is the charter captain for Yacht Sweet Waters operating out of Richards Bay in South Africa. See www.portsail.co.za Izak is an Australian with more than 40 years of sailing experience in the Pacific and Indian oceans. He holds a doctorate in law,is an Australian Certified Investment Planner and a Dealers Representative of the Sydney Stock Exchange. He headed up a commission of inquiry that investigated judges in South Africa in the 1990's, served as legal advisor to the African Christian Democratic Party, addressed the World Bank on issues around sustainable agricultural projects and land reform when he acted as Strategic Planner and CEO of the SADC Development Fund Trust. In Richards Bay he has chaired various committees in tourism etc.
