Description, etc.
+
The harbour of Marzamemi lies 28 miles south of Siracusa and four miles north of Capo Passero, the southeasternmost point of Sicily. The harbour is relatively industrial and somewhat grimy and a long way from the village of Marzamemi.  It is, however, a convenient stop-off point for a yacht day-sailing along the east coast of Sicily or planning to undertake the 60-mile passage down to Malta.  Three different marina operations are based in the harbour, each providing over 100 berths for yachts of between 15 ([[Club Nautico]]) and 55 metres ([[Yacht Club Marzamemi]]).
