Porto Heli or Porto Kheli (Πόρτοχέλι) is one of the most secure all weather anchorages in the Aegean. Many yachts winter here.

Danger: When approaching Porto Heli from the E watch out for the underwater rocks off Cape Aimilianos, they are not always visible. Keep a respectful distance from the mainland.
Check-in facilities
There is only one harbor, the Harbor of Porto Heli 37°18.9′N, 23°08.2′E. There several mooring options:
- Anchor off (the favorite for most cruisers)
- Anchor in the harbor or in several small coves
- Anchor and moor stern-to the quay
- Use one of the laid moorings (ask at the Express Marine Service +30 27540 53583). The bottom is mud and holds very well.

Chinítsa
37°18.26′N, 23°08.53′E
Chinítsa or Khinitsa (Χηνίτσα) is a small island SE of Porto Kheli. There are several anchoring possibilities here. The water is very clean.
Warning: The E channel between Chinítsa and Peloponnese is very shallow.
Ververoudha Bay
37°20.4′N, 23°07.1′E
This is an attractive bay W of Porto Heli.

LOn the S. of the Porto Heli bay is the excavation site of the ancient city of Halieis.
