Ports
Parianos
36°55.8′N, 25°36.2′E
Parianos is the only harbor in the island. It provides good shelter from the meltemi. It is a small harbor with 5-6 m depths at its entrance, and 3-4 m in its middle. Near the mole it can be less than 2 m.
Anchor in the middle and take a liner ashore.
The village is within a 15-20 minute walk.
Warning: There may be a number of floating ropes from the fishing boats.
Anchorages
Finikas
36°55.8′N, 25°35.8′E
This cove is right across from Kato Koufonisi. It provides reasonable shelter from the meltemi but is exposed to the south. There are many campers on the beach.
Anchor in 4-5 m on a sandy bottom. The village is near by.
NE Bay
36°56.7′N, 25°37.5′E
This bay is near the north-east tip of the island. It provides some shelter from the meltemi but is open to the east. Sandy bottom.

Offshore Islands
Karos
36°52.5′N, 25°38.6′E
Karos (Κάρος) or Keros is very arid and rough island, there are no paths or a place where a boat can anchor or safely stop. The island was a prehistoric (Cycladic) burial ground. Most of the findings form the burial ground are now at the National Museum and the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens.
Anti Karos
36°50.6′N, 25°40.3′E
Anti Karos (Αντίκαρος) or Anti Keros actually consists of two islands: Dhrima to the south-west and Anti Karos to the north-east. They are separated by a narrow channel 4 m deep.
In calm weather, this is good stop for a swim. The water is wonderful. There are only seagulls and plenty of tar polluting this otherwise pristine spot.
