Andros Town is the port of entry on Andros Island, and there is a marina and hotel, Lighthouse Marina & Hotel. Fresh Creek is a freshwater creek that runs between two towns at its mouth, Coakley Town and Andros Town.

There is a coin-operated laundry, one washer and one dryer which each use eight (8) quarters, either US or Bahamian, to run. Fuel can be ordered through the dockmaster and delivered by truck to the dock. Once can buy bags of ice, there is a lovely restaurant on the premises.
